It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 8th EGVRS Retina Academy, taking place on October 29–30, 2026, at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile Hotel.

The Retina Academy continues to serve as a valuable platform for learning, knowledge exchange, and professional growth, bringing together experts and young ophthalmologists with a shared passion for advancing retinal care.

This year's program features a comprehensive selection of educational courses, scientific sessions, and interactive panel discussions, designed to strengthen clinical knowledge, encourage critical thinking, and address the challenges of everyday ophthalmic practice. A special highlight of the program is the hands-on dry labs in vitrectomy, scleral buckling, laser, OCT angiography, and the treatment of aphakia, offering participants valuable practical training and experience.
